About Me

Who am I?
I'm Ryan O'Hara, a game developer with an art background who's been producing video games for 6+ years. I created Artii Games LLC, a hobbyist independent game development company that I use to sell my projects.

What skills do I have?

Experience coding in C#, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MATLAB.
Skilled at using the Unity game engine, specializing in UX and Particle System design.
Strong graphic designer & familiar with most image editors (though I mainly use GIMP).
Able to create and edit custom sound effects.
Capable video editor. I produce all my own game trailers.

What's my process like?

Worked on 23 game projects across a huge variety of genres: (RPG, Action, Strategy, Educational, Multiplayer, etc.)
I pride myself on being a full-stack developer, capable of readily taking on nearly any task. Be it art, code, sound, or video editing, I can do it all and do it well.
Experience with a large range of development cycles, ranging from 48 hours to over 2 years.
I develop for a huge number of platforms (Android, PC, Mac, Linux, and internet browsers.)

Where did I go to college?

Graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2018 with a BA in Game Design & Development.
Graduated from PACE University in 2020 with a Master's Degree in Computer Science.
