An entirely mouse-based spellcasting demo. Play as a vampire who fights her own kind with unique spell counterplay mechanics. Zap away the cursed purple magic that the enemy casts before it becomes too much to handle.

This was an experiment in mouse-only multitasking. It proved to be a challenge to streamline gameplay with so few buttons, but simplifying the mechanics made it work well. I also normalmapped my sprites, which gave a nice illusion of 3D lighting on all of the 2D objects. Additionally, I worked with with dynamic character animations and AI states, which gave the game a very clean look with interesting enemy patterns.
